Singer-musician Steve Brown has been playing professionally since 1993.

After many years singing backing vocals in his main band Wonderland it was brought to his attention that he actually had a voice! Thanks to the management at The Alexandra Hotel in Fort William this was developed by playing solo every Thursday for six months during the 2010 holiday season.

Here we are two years on and he’s been asked back for a 3rd time – proof that he’s doing something right!

His repertoire covers a wide range of styles – singing songs by Elvis, Jim Reeves, Johnny Cash, The Proclaimers, Eric Clapton, Paolo Nutini, Van Morrison, Neil Diamond, John Martyn, Dougie MacLean and Michael Bublé, whilst playing on one his many guitars and accompanied by the best backing tracks available. A handful of Scottish Traditional tunes are also played, again using backing tracks but this time with Steve playing electric mandolin.

So, for a mixture of great classic songs and a few Scottish instrumentals - Steve’s yer man!
