Steve and Angie Cobb met in the Preservation Halls in
Edinburgh, wrote a few songs, went through a few drummers, bass players,
one rhythm guitarist and keyboard player before settling on the main line
up pictured here, with Aly Barr, bass, and Terry O'Sullivan drums.
Live TV appearance on The James Whale Show in Nov 91 to promote debut single which was recorded at The Mill Studios in Berkshire. Took us best part of a week but hey, Jimmy Page and Elton John used to own this gaff, we were soaking up the vibes maaan.
TV DEGENERATION album recorded summer 92 with Ian Beveridge producing. Ian had recorded our first demos at Pier House and had become a good mate by this time. In between he had been doing live sound for Nirvana, a hefty namedrop! Still happy with the album these days, check out some MP3s. Angie had to give up singing in April '93 just after the album came out.........bugger. Plans are afoot to remaster the album and include the Pier House demos as bonus tracks on SBE Records.
