Wedding Dance Entertainment

WONDERLAND  are wedding dance specialists having played 100s over the years in most of the hotels and castles around the country. 

A typical wedding dance with Wonderland would start with some background music as your evening guests arrive. Then the first song of the couple's choice. The most popular songs to date include Can't Take My Eyes Off Of You - Andy Williams; Amazed - Lonestar; Cupid - Sam Cooke and Chasing Cars - Snow Patrol. A Grand March can be played before the first dance if requested.

Wonderland then play through a selection from their vast repertoire of old and new songs to get the guests on the dancefloor. Background music during the buffet sustains the mood with classics from Nat King Cole, Dean Martin, Elvis and some romantic Scottish Airs. After the buffet it's time for traditional Scottish Country Dances, including Gay Gordons, Strip the Willow and Steve's mandolin version of The Bluebell Polka. More disco, country, pop, blues and soul, rounding off the evening with, typically, The Proclaimers' I'm Gonna Be 500 Miles, Runrig's Loch Lomond and Auld Lang Syne.

In our experience this tried and tested format works wonders (excuse the pun!) but it's not set in stone. With a telephone call a couple of months beforehand we find out your exact requirements for the big day.
